one question: is the bg pixeled(sp? :D)? if not i guess it would look better with a pixel-bg

Not to usurp the artist or anything, but I'm sure the BG isn't pixelled. I'd say that's because a game like this for the DS would use the sort of fancy 3D background effects that you see in modern 2D games. (e.g. Marvel vs Capcom 2)

But I could be wrong. :)

thats what i thought to, but i wanted to get sure ;)
well personaly, like i said, i like pixeled backgrounds better.. only thinking of the fine bgs in metal slug... though thats more work ;)

nah pixelating the bg would take ages :) and it needs to be quite blury anyway, so it dosent take the focus away from the action in the forground.
i wanted to make something simular to the bg's in kirby, they are always blurry non-pixelated bgs (at least on the gba and DS)
